15/15 Challenge: Day 13

Opening Prayer:
You've got the hang of this part now. Spend as much time in prayer as you need before getting started Remember to ask God to search your heart, take time to listen. Confess your sin to him and thank him for his forgiveness. Ask him to help you understand his Word and apply it to your life today.

Scripture:
Remember that you can read this scripture in your own Bible and underline parts that speak directly to you. If you do that or write them in a journal, you will be able to go back to them in the days to come.

Lamentations 3:21-26
21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

Observation:
Think about what this scripture means. You may want to journal anything that comes to mind.Who is speaking?What do you learn about God?What do you learn about yourself?

Application:
Again, you are welcome to journal anything that God puts on your heart. How does this passage apply to your life right now? How will what you have read transform how you live today?

Prayer:
Close out your time by thanking God that his mercies are new every morning. Thank him for who he is and all he is doing in your life. Pray about anything on your heart.
Commit your day to him.
