Hey ya'll, it's Amy and I thought I would do a Sunday post since I skipped on Friday! My husband, Dusty, and I were a host home for Senior guys and we went into the weekend hoping we could give them a place to relax, get deep in God's Word, and with each other. It never really crossed my mind that I would learn so much from them!
I learned...
...that I was wrong for assuming that this was a generation that couldn't (or wouldn't) carry the torch!
...that while we may be limited in what we can do, God is not! He is still very much God, even in a world that seems to acknowledge Him less and less.
...that hearing an auditorium packed full of hundreds of teens singing about their passionate love for Jesus can literally bring you to tears of joy!

love the pictures amy! lol cooper did not want to cooperate in the picture(or maybe she was having to much fun with her toy) and tucker blinked. They need to learn how to pose better for pictures. hahaha.
anyway I learned that there is so much in the world we live in that we can have no control over, but we can pray and give the control over to God because he makes change not us.
Hey Amy thanks again to you and Dusty for letting us stay in your house. This weekend was definately awesome. I learned a lot about God's calling for Christians. I would definately say I am motivated and encouraged after this weekend. Thanks again
