Lessons learned and Memories Made...

I grew up in church. Everytime the doors were open, we were there. The only thing that kept me from going to church was sickness. My family even sat on the same pew every Sunday - 3rd pew from the front, middle section on the left hand side. :-) My youth group was one of the biggest in the town. At the time, my thought was, I love going because all of my friends are there. That was very true, but God also taught me many things about Himself. He constantly showed His love for me, He gave me comfort, peace, and patience when my father was battling cancer, and He guided me in many decisions I had to make about college, dating, etc. I am thankful for that time in my youth group, not just for the relationships that were developed with my friends, but more importantly for the relationship I found with Jesus!

Disciple Now is an event in student ministry where you can build those relationships with each other as well as deepen your walk with Christ. Or, it can be the weekend where you meet Jesus for the very first time. It is a powerful, life changing weekend where God can show you many things about Himself and His great love for you! I hope you will decide to come this year. For those of you that have been in the past, what is one of your favorite DNow memories?
