Amazing

Hey everyone. It is Jessica - your Wednesday blogger!! :) Hope you all are having a great summer. We have been quite busy around our home. We went to beach camp in Orange Beach, AL last week. After we got home from camp, we turned right around and left for Lake Lure, NC. It is a place in the mountains, just outside of Asheville. My brothers and their families, as well as my mom went for 2 days. It was nice to get away and spend time with my family. On Saturday, we went to a place called Chimney Rock Park. There are lots of hiking trails, huge rocks, caves......perfect for boys! We went hiking on one trail called Hickory Nut Falls. It was a 1.5 mile hike and at the end of the trail was....

A beautiful waterfall!!

We were able to climb down on the rocks, take our shoes off and stand in the water. While we were down there, we looked straight up to the top of the waterfall. Standing there feeling the water mist my face, seeing a rainbow reflection as the sunlight hit the water, and seeing the massive rocks - it was an amazing sight. I was in awe of our God and the beauty of His creation. What a wonderful God we serve!!
